Dr. Manmohan Madhukar Kamat can be considered as one of the Pioneers of Laparoscopy in the maximum city of Mumbai. His track record is remarkable and he is a trail blazer in advanced Laparoscopic techniques. Dr.Kamat was marked for success right from his early years. As a postgraduate in surgery from T.N.Medical College /Nair Hospital he secured 2 nd rank in university.in M.S.

He also obtained rich clinical experience in General Surgery as a full time clinical faculty for 9 years in various General Surgical department of Bhagawati Hospital Borivali, Lokmanya Tilak General Hospital (Sion), Dr. R.N.Cooper Hospital (Juhu) M.W. Desai Hospital (Malad) and KEM Hospital (Parel) in Mumbai.

He is presently Head Of The Department of Advanced Laparoscopic surgery Nanavati Superspeciality Hospital, Vileparle (West).

He has trained numerous postgraduate surgical students during this tenure.

He has also trained many practicing Surgeons & students in General & Laparoscopic surgery

His experience in endoscopy & laparoscopy started almost when it was introduced in India in 1993. He has also been trained in Advanced Endoscopic surgery at Israel in 1999.

He has many national & international publications.

Dr. Manmohan M. Kamat was invited by Govt. of Tanzania and was part of delegation of Indian Medical Experts Dr. Kamat performed many complicated Laparoscopic surgeries at Sanitas Medics Hospital at Mikocheni in Dar es Salam, Tanzania (Africa) and received appreciation from international experts for his expertise in Laparoscopic Surgery.

Dr. Manmohan M. Kamat believes in donning many kinds of hats.

He has also done LL.B from University of Mumbai in 2009 and is a visiting professor of Law & Medicine in Jitendra Chauhan college of Law.(Mumbai).India

He also acts in theatrical plays dedicated to creating social awareness about various social issues.

He has put his heart and soul in establishing state of art minimum access surgery (Laparoscopy) centre at Dr. Kamats Hospital Jogeshwari (East) Mumbai.

Dr. Jayanti Kamat MD, FICOG is a senior Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and an Infertility Specialist practicing for 20 years.

She has been trained in Advanced Infertility treatment at Israel.

She has worked as an Asst. Honorary Professor in Dr. R.N. Cooper Hospital and Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Medical College & Hospital.

She has trained numerous student doctors in Obst & Gynaecology during her tenure in Municipal Hospitals.

She believes in personalised care for each and every patient and is passionate about patient education.

She also conducts many workshops & camps for patients on preconceptional care, Antenatal Care, Infertility, menstrual health and various issues of women’s health care.

She has been an invited speaker for women’s health at various forums like Vileparle Seva Sangh, Jitendra Chauhan College of Law, Rotary Club, State Reserve police organisation and Indian Medical Association, Godrej Hospital, Vikhroli and various schools for educating young girls about Adolescence and menstrual hygiene & care.

She is an executive committee member of Association of Fellow Gynaecologist the biggest organisation of Gynaecologists of western suburbs.

She is also a Member of MOGS (Mumbai Obstetric & Gynaec Society) and ISAR (Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction).
